  7. The video was about the lost boys that went to New York. they didn't know anything about how to live in America. They had to learn how to get jobs and how to make money. They thought the food in Africa was better than America because they did not understand how to eat it. The movie was good because it shows things about American culture that people don't notice and the struggle of immigrants. I would recommend it to a friend.

  8. This is a heartwarming story with a few laughs on the way. I definenately recomemnd this story to anyone! Its hard to even think people live that way, this uplifting movie will make you greatful and a better person. This story is about a group of men living in Sudan, Actually scratch that, barely living...They take perilous journeys in search of better land, food and overall Just a place to ecscape from the treacherous pit that is north sudan. At the end of journey lies Usa, which is a little different from sudan, some adjustments must be done, But not only do they survive.. they thrive.

  9. i thought the movie was very inspirational and was informative! i learned a lot... like to treasure everyday with your family and friends -so everyday- like its your last.. if i could describe it in one word i would say Brotherhood because its all about "The Lost Boys" these boys 13 yrs at oldest had to leave Sudan and take a huge journey to kakuma a refugee camp, after a few years there they separated... all over! then they talk about how they get used to the place and how they reunited with family and friends... All the friends stick together like brothers, it was really sad in the beginning but got better and happier and funny to see how they used this, very different and weird to how we would use them! it was cool and interesting seeing them adjust to our world and compare their world to ours! some parts made me want to cry and others i laughed out loud also at parts they mad me ssoooooo mad people were unfair ans mean!! but otherwise i liked it !!(: I highly recommend this!! its really inspirational and i enjoyed it a lot!! i also learned a lot about culture and Material and non-material! i hope u enjoy this movie too!!! :P

  13. I heard about people that have problms in the world but to see it from diffrent pespictives can really help, because most people don't appreciate what they get but the sad part is some people in the world well never even get that close to the things you want get or that you have but the movie really shows that the lost boys have travlled from since they were 3 to even 6 but a group goes to america for a new start GOOD MOVIE

  14. I really loved the movie, God grew tired of us!
It shiwed the importance of sticking together in the tuff times. the "lost boys" acted like they were ACTUALLY brothers! it was really cute how they missed thier family soooooooooo much, and that one guy, Jon was,in my opinion, the most loyal to the ones that didn't get to go to the US. he raised alot of money and sent it all to Sudan to his family. He, also DEFFINETLY stayed true to his culture. this movie is a MUST see! I think that it showes how much we really have! :)

  16. I would recomed this to people if they want to help or see that the goverment can do good things. It is about 4 men how get chosen to go to America. The 4 men don't know what or hoe to talk to or aks questions. They follow there life in America for one year. There jobs and what they whant to do with there life. One man wants to bring his wife and another his girlfriend and merry her. One tho send money to Suda for the lost boys and one goes to collage for better life for him and family. It is a imspiring story to me and others too.!

I liked the movie I thought it was very interesting. This is what it is about it is about a lot of Sudan people(in Africa) having war in their country so they were forced to move to a refugee camp in kenya it was a hard walk from Sudan to Kenya. It was a tiring trip many died of hunger most of the kids or children died, there was around 17000 kids when they started then there was around 9000 kids or children when they finished there trip. Women were the cooks in Sudan it was just part of their culture, but when there was not enough women to take care of one another so some men or young boys were forced to cook for there family or what is left of their family. About 5000 men were chose to go to America they were called the lost boys. The lost boys were spread out in the U.S. to about 24 states. Every ounce or twice the lost boys from all over the U.S. would meet in philadelphia. In New York the lost boys there were doing a march or walk to help Sudan they had t-shirts for other people that were walking with the lost boys they said it reminded them of the walk from Sudan to the refugee camp in Kenya. They had to learn how to use the toilet the fridge what chips are and that they had things called forks because back in Sudan they just ued there hands to just stuff the food in there mouth but here we use forks to stick the fork in the food and you pick it up and then put it in your mouth. The lost boys had to start working they worked 2 to 3 jobs they sent a lot of there $ to Sudan. At the end the lost boys got to go back to Sudan and stay with there family some boys are bringing their family back to America to live with them at the end most of the lost boys were happy some found there family some did not. They got the best of both worlds.:)!$
